This book is about “Noodles”, an elementary school aged girl who enjoys going to the thrift shop with her mother to buy unique items such as clothing and accessories. Although she enjoys the items, she is embarrassed that they were once used by others and doesn’t want her friends at school to know she got them from the thrift shop.
